Lilly Teacher Creativity Grant 2019
This trip was funded by the Lilly Teacher Creativity Grant for the summer of 2019 and seeks to explore how literature has helped preserve culture and language while sparking the debate for social change. It's mainly centered around Hugo's Les Miserables in France, Scott's Rob Rob in Scotland, and Lorca's Romancero Gitano in Spain in a trip intended to cover about 5-6 weeks and 200 years historically!
